Participation of 25 Advanced Companies… Providing Practical Employment Support through On-site Interviews and Mentoring

On the 30th, Gachon University’s University Job Plus Center, in collaboration with IBK Industrial Bank of Korea and the Korea Industrial Technology Promotion Association, successfully hosted the ‘2025 Advanced Industry Outstanding Talent Campus Recruiting’ event.

The event took place in the first floor and basement lobby of Gachon Hall and featured 25 leading companies representing advanced industries such as semiconductors, IT, electrical and electronics, bio and medical, and machinery and construction. Through on-site interviews and one-on-one mentoring, the event provided Gachon University’s current students and alumni with practical employment opportunities.

Participating companies included semiconductor firms such as Unisem and Mikoceramics; IT companies like Abakus and SK Shieldus; electrical and electronics companies including Ubiquoss and Youngin Energy Solution; machinery and construction firms like Estate and Advantest Korea; and bio and medical companies such as Dentium, i-Sense, and Ilyang Pharmaceutical. Additionally, leading companies from various industries, including Coway, Sesco, JCNM, and Myunghwa Industrial, also took part.

At the opening ceremony of Gachon University’s ‘2025 Advanced Industry Outstanding Talent Campus Recruiting,’ key figures attended, including Gachon University’s Vice President Wonjung Yoon, Director of Employment and Career Choi Hoimyeong, Korea Industrial Technology Promotion Association’s Executive Vice Chairman Seogon Ko, IBK Industrial Bank’s Deputy CEO Geonhong Lee, and CEO Youngtaek Lim of Abakus Co., Ltd., representing the participating companies.

The event featured several zones: the ‘Recruitment Hall’ where job interviews took place; the ‘Success Making Hall’ offering employment skill enhancement programs such as VR interview experiences, personal color analysis, and image making; and the ‘Promotion Hall’ providing information from the organizing institutions. Additionally, various side events like a job support café and photo wall received enthusiastic responses from participating students.

Notably, Bok Seonghyun, CEO of D3 Co., delivered a special lecture titled “Employment Without Losing Your Dream,” sharing his unique career design strategies and offering practical employment tips and motivation to students.

Vice President Wonjung Yoon stated, “This event is a great example of collaboration between industry and university, providing students with real employment opportunities. Gachon University will continue to strengthen industry-academia cooperation linked to advanced industries and expand employment support programs.”
